Crossover were chosen to deliver state-of-the-art audiovisual systems for leading GPCR medicine design and development company Heptares Theraputic’s relocation to a new 35,000 square foot premises in the Granta Park science complex outside Cambridge. The new purpose-built facility houses all of Heptares’ UK R&D team, focused on discovery and clinical development of novel small molecules and medicines derived from its drug design platform.
Crossover equipped the facilities’ impressive Boardroom with cutting-edge 3D projection technology, allowing staff to visualise and analyse complex molecular designs in precise detail and from a multitude of perspectives, with powerful 3D rotation.
The boardroom also features a Full HD videoconferencing system from Polycom, powerful audioconferencing (with audio captured in great detail via a discreet ceiling microphone), automated drop-down projector lift and projection screen, a large format display for presentations, and wireless content sharing, all controlled seamlessly via a highly intuitive touch panel control system.
Elsewhere in the facility we equipped multiple meeting rooms with large format displays and wireless ‘ClickShare’ presentation systems, along with very neat in-table cable management boxes, and Skype-based video conferencing systems, all controlled by a touch panel control system.
Three of the new meeting rooms can be combined into a combined space via folding walls. When the partition walls are opened the AV systems reconfigure to facilitate company-wide meetings and presentations using a large-format projection system. The AV systems also allow any two adjacent meeting rooms to be combined, to facilitate mid-sized presentations using their combined display and audio systems.
The heavily-used staff café and reception areas have zoned background audio systems, along with wireless microphone systems, wireless audio (based around a Sonos system), digital signage, and intuitive touch panel control systems allowing the systems to be easily used by even non-technical staff.
