BIFM launch Operational Readiness Guide

Facilities managers (FMs) should take notice of a new guide published by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) entitled: ‘Operational Readiness Guide: A guide to ensuring long term effectiveness in the design and construction process'. 

The guide aims to prepare FMs to actively engage in build and construction projects at each stage of the process, armed with the knowledge to deliver value for money and long term 'Return on Investment' (ROI), examining factors such as sustainability, energy management and value engineering, along with how to deliver work environments to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the occupants. Sounds like information well worth the admission fee.
